Dr. Sashi Sathyanarayana
Shashi Sathyanarayana Ph.D is the founder of Numeric Insight, Inc (www.numericinsight.com) and brings several decades of expertise in scientific programming, algorithm development and teaching. He teaches machine learning and related topics at the University of California extensions in Silicon Valley and Berkeley. Formerly at Boston Scientific Corp, he was responsible for the creation of algorithms that power the company’s imaging devices which are used to assist in the detection of atherosclerosis. He is a named inventor on about 20 patents in machine learning and ultrasound imaging.

Carol Lenk holds an Electrical Engineering degree from MIT and has been in the LED
industry for 10 years. She is the co-author of a best-selling book on LEDs and LED drivers
now in its 2 nd edition. She has been concentrating on PCB design for the last five years.
Dr. Radhika Sivaramakrishna
Project Management & Clinical Trial
Radhika Sivaramakrishna, PhD, PMP, CSSBB, CCRP is currently a Project Management and Clinical Operations Consultant. She is PMP-certified, is an ASQ-certified black belt as well as has a CCRP certification through SOCRA. Prior to this she has served in several roles of increasing responsibility both in academia as well as industry CRO and sponsor companies. Her most recent position was that of Executive Director, Alliance Management at Covance where she was responsible for overall global program and portfolio management for several pharmaceutical/biotech sponsor clients holding ultimate accountability for successful delivery of clinical trials that Covance runs for these clients.
Sujee has been developing software for 15 years. In the last few years he has been consulting and teaching Hadoop, NOSQL and Cloud technologies. Sujee stays active in Hadoop / Open Source community. He runs a developer focused meetup and Hadoop hackathons called ‘Big Data Gurus’. He has presented at variety of meetups. Sujee contributes to Hadoop project and other open source projects. He writes about Hadoop and other technologies on his website.
Mark is an experienced/hands-on BigData architect. He has been developing software for over 20 years in a variety of technologies (enterprise, web, HPC) and for a variety of verticals (healthcare, O&G, legal, financial). He currently focuses on Hadoop, BigData, NOSQL and Amazon Cloud Services. Mark has been doing Hadoop training for individuals and corporations; his classes are hands-on and draw heavily on his industry experience. Mark stays active in the Hadoop / Startup communities. He runs Houston Hadoop Meetup. Mark contributes to a number of Hadoop-based projects.
Power Supply and LED Systems Design
Ron Lenk is a veteran engineer specializing in power supplies and LED drivers. He has 35 issued U.S. patents, and is the author of a best-selling book on power supplies, and co-author of a best-selling book on LEDs and LED drivers. He was co-founder and CEO of SuperBulbs (Switch Light), a venture-funded light bulb manufacturer. He is currently a consultant, doing both design work and invention.
Dhiman Bhattacharjee is a product management and marketing professional. He has an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, Berkeley, CA and a graduate degree in engineering & management from MIT, Cambridge, MA. Dhiman has experience in several large and small software companies including Oracle and Lycos.
Gopalakrishnan Subramaniam received advanced degrees in Power electronics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Duke University. He worked as a senior member engineering staff at Lockheed Martin in the areas of designing of DC-DC Converters, Linear Regulators and modeling the architecture of Radar Power Systems using LT-Spice. His power electronics experience also includes analog circuit design, feedback Loop Analysis in Time and Frequency domain for Linear and Switch Mode DC Regulator. For last several years he has trained power engineers with the knowledge of LT Spice. His tutorials have excellent referrals from LinkedIn Members.

Kaushik Das is an Enterprise Solutions (IT) Project Manager based out of San Francisco Bay Area. He has been working in the IT industry since 1999 having worked at diverse industries such as airlines, discrete manufacturing, hi-tech and pharmaceutical.
